Dinners, Parties & Picnics

As a club we create many ways for members to socialise throughout the year.    From our annual Christmas party or a spring lunch to a peaceful picnic by the river on a sunny day we try to plan activities that our members will enjoy.   All our events are designed to foster closer relationships between our members and of course to have fun.

Getting involved with the local community

As an Association of St. Chinian we get involved in a number of local events aligned with the other associations such as the Christmas Telethon and running one of the Saturday vide-greniers.  We also have quite a reputation for organising our own annual charity event in the summer to raise money to support local charities. It’s great to see how we always come together, supporting one another, and giving something back to the local community.

Exploring the region

We are always looking for opportunities to explore the region we live in and all the amazing things it has to offer.  Whether it's spending time with local producers getting a deeper understanding  of how they provide the food we eat and drink, visits to cultural centers or enjoying places of interest. The ideas for activities are proposed and agreed by members, then scheduled at regular intervals.

Alongside our groups and activities, we also come together to participate in special events, split into three main categories.  The events are organised by the members for the members with most of them open to partners, family, and friends.  If you decide to join us you can, if you wish, be part of these events as an organiser, supporter or participant. It would be great to welcome you into the Club
